Departure specifies the details as to sex, age, &c., which the immigrants from other nationalities are obliged to furnish to the Mexican Sanitary Authorities on reaching Mexican soil.
Dr. Liceaga, President of the Mexican Board of Health, stated yesterday in the course of an interview given to the representative of the "Mexican Herald" that the Commissioners, of which he was one, appointed by the Federal Government to draft a measure regulating the admission of immigrants into Mexico had submitted their report to the Ministry of the Interior, where it would be discussed and revised, with a view to the Bill being presented to Congress during the next Session, which begins on the 16th proximo.
Dr. Liceaga declined to enter into details as to the provisions of the proposed Bill, but said that the basis on which the measure was founded tended to suppress the admission into Mexico of men incapable of intellectual and physical development, as well as those persons who might be affected by contagious diseases.
